Bait is the subsystem under fishing. This page says what is confirmed and what I refused to invent.
The Fandom bait template was truncated in the research pass. I can prove worms and mini sandworms exist as item names because expired codes listed them. I cannot give a farm route I did not read.
What the sources actually name
Rods can list a bait requirement and a lure target. Golden Tooth is a buy material for some rods, including Dragon Pole. The expired code Sorry4Bugs was listed as granting 10 Worms. VoidFishing was listed as granting 5 Mini Sandworms. A community dark-key page names Glowing Eel as a bait used with Dragon Pole. I did not retest that pairing.

The complete gather route was not in the saved bait template. Fish the island and check the stall before you follow a farm video.

Not ranked here. The only pairing I can cite is the community Dragon Pole plus Glowing Eel line on the dark-key page.
